ScaleWell Consulting was founded by someone who's been in the trenches of Ontario dental clinic operations — not someone who read about it.
Moureen Ambalwa
Moureen's journey in the dental industry started at just 17 years old, when she began working as a dental assistant. From the very beginning, she developed a deep appreciation for what it takes to keep a dental clinic running — not just clinically, but operationally.
Over the years, Moureen progressed into compliance officer and operations manager roles, where she became responsible for everything from infection prevention protocols to team training, workflow design, patient engagement strategies, and administrative systems.
Through these roles, she saw the same patterns over and over: talented dentists held back by weak systems, overwhelmed by admin tasks, and struggling with staff accountability and compliance gaps. She realized that most clinics didn't need more clinical training — they needed stronger operational foundations.
That's why she founded ScaleWell Consulting: to give dental clinic owners and their teams the same practical, hands-on dental office management consulting she's spent her career building — so they can focus on patient care while their practice runs like a well-oiled machine.
Today, Moureen works directly with clinic owners and practice managers across Ontario — conducting IPAC assessments, training front-office teams, building operations manuals, supporting A/R recovery, and guiding clinics through growth transitions. Every engagement is tailored to the specific needs of the practice, because no two clinics are the same.
